Everyone knows the story by now.
Goran Dragic wanted out of Phoenix. He had some choice words for the Phoenix Suns organization the day before the NBA trade deadline.
The Suns dealt Dragic and his brother, Zoran, to the Miami Heat minutes before the 1 p.m. deadline on Feb. 19 in exchange for two future first-round draft picks.
The next day, Suns general manager Ryan McDonough and president of basketball operations Lon Babby threw plenty of criticism back at Dragic for his derogatory statements about the team.
On Friday, Suns owner Robert Sarver said he didn’t take Dragic’s comments personally, and in fact, the sixth-year pro contacted him to tell him he was sorry for his harsh words.
