If you’re a fan of the Arizona Cardinals and a fan of beer, you’re in luck: Your worlds are colliding.
Four Peaks Brewing Co., based in Tempe, Ariz., is coming out with the Red Bird Lager, an Arizona Cardinals-themed beer that was pictured on the company’s social media on Monday as coming in a red bottle.
It was “Brewed to celebrate the [Arizona Cardinals] and the 100th season of the NFL,” the tweet said.
“Red Bird Lager has a light toasty malt flavor and crisp finish that satisfies from kickoff to the final whistle. Drink up, Red Sea.”
The concept is similar to that of the Yotes Pale Ale from San Tan Brewery, which came out in 2016 to honor the Arizona Coyotes.
Four Peak’s main brewery is in Tempe near Arizona State University, while three other taprooms can be found throughout the Valley.
The Arizona Cardinals open their regular season on Sept. 8 at home against the Detroit Lions.
