Ken Whisenhunt hinted last week that there may be changes on
his coaching staff, and while many have thought that would
mean the addition of Todd Haley, the first domino to fall
was the firing of QB coach Chris Miller.
Reports surfaced late Monday that the team has let go of
Miller, who just finished his third season with the team.
The decision to fire Miller is likely based on the struggles
the team had at the QB position, as the last two years saw
Derek Anderson, John Skelton, Max Hall and Kevin Kolb all
struggle to gain footing as a starter.
Now, just because Miller was fired does not mean Haley is on
his way to the desert, though there is now an opening on the
staff that must be filled.
