Um, Marcus Morris … you can’t do that.
The former Phoenix Suns forward of the Morris twins duo — the other being Markieff Morris — was tossed from a preseason game on Monday night after the now-New York Knicks player hit an opposing player on the head with the ball, seemingly on purpose.
He might have clipped Justin Anderson twice, as it appeared Anderson was looking for a call before Morris eventually thumped him on the head, clear as day, with the basketball.

Morris played 186 games for the Phoenix Suns from 2012 through 2015, eventually being traded to the Pistons with Reggie Bullock and Danny Granger for a 2020 2nd-round pick.
Some on Twitter had fun with Monday’s ejection incident:

I’m sorry but you absolutely HAVE to fight a guy if he boops you on the head in an NBA game https://t.co/62kjoIiO9N

personally i think that if you break the rules in a funny way it should be allowed. bonk him with the ball, throw down a banana peel, etc https://t.co/FDzAK2OFQl
