The top three spots in Doug & Wolf’s Week 6 NFL power rankings all look the same.

From best to third-best, it’s the New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs. No surprises there after the Patriots blew out winless Washington and the Saints squeaked by Tampa Bay.

The Chiefs didn’t take a hit for their 19-13 loss to the Colts, but it makes sense they held to No. 3. There’s just a clear drop-off in squads after that group.

Yet, the Buffalo Bills had another strong week, and each of 98.7 FM’s Doug Franz, Ron Wolfley and Paul Calvisi listed them among the five best NFL teams following a 14-7 win over Tennessee on Sunday that moved Buffalo to 4-1 on the year.

No team has scored more than 17 points on the Bills, including New England, which beat Buffalo 16-10 a week prior.

After the Bills, however, naming a fifth team atop the NFL is a toss-up.

Franz and Calvisi both have the 4-1 Green Bay Packers in their top-five, while Wolf liked what he saw from the San Francisco 49ers’ 31-3 beating of the Cleveland Browns on Monday to label the Niners as the best team in the NFC West.
