You had a sense that the Phoenix Suns’ loss to the Los Angeles Lakers had some pop to it.
The Lakers remain atop the Western Conference standings, but Phoenix’s 6-4 mark and solid play throughout the start to the season made it a game to watch. The product on the court didn’t disappoint as Los Angeles won 123-115 after 29 lead changes and 14 ties.
So the stars were out to watch LeBron James and Anthony Davis face an upstart Suns team led by Devin Booker and Ricky Rubio.
Arizona Cardinals rookie and No. 1 overall pick Kyler Murray got a first-row seat — and a handshake from James that interrupted some Haribo Gold gummi bear eating.

No word on whether Murray’s purple Nike sweater was in support of James and the Lakers or the local NBA squad.
Murray was asked about the interaction after practice on Wednesday and James even aknowledged the young rookie’s answer to the press on Twitter.
No need for words. What’s known don’t need to be said Young 🤴🏾 @K1! 🙏🏾💪🏾👑 https://t.co/B1KmcXopn5

The Arizona rookie wasn’t the only one representing the pigskin sport on Tuesday night. Cardinals teammates and noted pass-rushing talents Chandler Jones and Terrell Suggs took in the game as well.
Major League Baseball was also well-represented by MVP-caliber players in the New York Yankees’ Aaron Judge and the Los Angeles Dodgers’ Cody Bellinger, the latter of whom is an actual Valley boy.
Bellinger’s fit, like Murray’s, didn’t make clear which team he was rooting for.
