Hampered by a right ankle sprain at the start of the season, Suns guard Ty Jerome made his debut in orange and purple with the Suns’ G League affiliate Northern Arizona Suns Tuesday night at the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley.
While not part of the starting five, Jerome checked in with eight minutes remaining in the first quarter.
He played a total of 12 minutes, only seeing action during the first and second quarter.
He ended the evening shooting 3-of-9 with nine points, one rebound, one assist and a steal.
Following the game, it was announced both Jerome and Jalen Lecque had been recalled to the Phoenix Suns.
Jerome was selected 24th overall in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers and was later traded to the Boston Celtics.
He, along with Aron Baynes, was then traded from Boston to Phoenix for the Milwaukee Bucks’ 2020 first-round pick.
Upon returning from injury, he joins a point guard mix that features Ricky Rubio, Elie Okobo, Tyler Johnson and Jevon Carter.
