The Phoenix Suns will be able to get their feet wet against NBA opponents before the season resumes.
They will play three scrimmage games against other teams in the Orlando bubble, the NBA announced in a schedule release.
Phoenix is scheduled to play the Utah Jazz on July 23 at 5 p.m., the Boston Celtics on July 26 at 10:30 a.m. and the Toronto Raptors on July 28 at noon.
The Suns do not play any of those teams during the real games that decide playoff seeding.
On July 31, Phoenix will play its first game of the resumed NBA season against the Washington Wizards.
The Suns, with a 26-39 record, was the final team in the Western Conference standings allowed into the 22-team tournament.
They are 6.0 games back of the Memphis Grizzlies for the eighth seed and 2.0 games behind the San Antonio Spurs for the 12th seed.
