The Phoenix Suns found surprising success in coach Jeff Hornacek’s first season, and they put together several memorable plays that were worthy of a season-ending top 10 reel.
NBA.com has released a countdown of the Suns’ top plays in 2013-14, and Eric Bledsoe, Miles Plumlee and Gerald Green are responsible for a majority of the list.
Interesting to note that Bledsoe, a restricted free agent, only appeared in 43 games in his first season in Phoenix, but found himself involved in many of the team’s best individual plays.
The NBA.com video actually shows the last two plays as No. 2 — meaning it looks like there’s No. 1 in the countdown — but you’ll be able to figure out which is which.
Take a trip down memory lane by watching what the league thought were the Suns’ 10 best plays from last season:
We think the league might have forgotten this one, because we sure remember it:
Point guard Goran Dragic had a breakout season and was recognized as the NBA’s Most Improved Player. The league apparently thought he deserved to have a top 10 reel all to himself, releasing a video not long after the regular season ended.
And if you want to see more from Green, YouTube user DownToBuck put together a compilation of all of the high-flying swingman’s dunks from last season. Get ready for some jaw-droppers.
