Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins continues to have fun with his “Hail Murray” touchdown catch that won the game Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.
On Tuesday, he tweeted a picture of the catch with the caption. “Best meme gets a signed jersey.”
In the picture, he’s surrounded by three Bills players, all with their arms outstretched but just beneath the reach of Hopkins, whose black Jumpman gloves are squeezing the ball near its apex.
Comments began immediately, including one from Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady, who didn’t totally, 100% understand the point of a meme.

That’s more of a gif than a meme, but a nice attempt and a good compliment nevertheless. And luckily, Brady doesn’t exactly need a free jersey, so it won’t be devastating to him if he doesn’t win (even though Hopkins quote-tweeted him by saying he did win).
Others did understand and responded with some solid options.
Hopkins retweeted this one from Cameron Magruder, known for his YouTube videos imitating fan bases.

This one may end up being Hopkins’ favorite. At the very least, he wouldn’t disagree.
