It didn’t take long for one of the newest Phoenix Suns to start getting to know his teammates.
Jae Crowder on Monday posted an Instagram story that showed him donning his new threads in fan mockups, getting some work done on his legs and, of course, talking with Devin Booker and Chris Paul on FaceTime.
Fittingly, Crowder added “NEW ERA VALLEY BOYZ LOADING!” to the screenshot of the conversation.

The trio seem to already be hitting things off by the smiles shown on the screen.
That’s a big plus for Suns fans, who most likely remember the last notable social media exchange between Booker and Crowder after the Suns guard dropped 70 points in a loss to Crowder’s team at the time, the Boston Celtics.
It could pay big dividends for a young Suns team that has tasted success after an 8-0 stretch in the NBA bubble.
The additions of Paul and Crowder bring postseason experience to a Suns squad looking to make that next step.
Combined, the two have 23 years of experience under their belts, with 19 postseason appearances over that span.
Crowder heads to the Valley after making the NBA Finals as a member of the Miami Heat, while Paul took OKC to the first round of the playoffs in 2020.
Crowder averaged 11.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.3 steals per game last season. Paul put up 21.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.6 steals per contest on his way to being named an All-NBAer.
