NAU basketball falls to UC Riverside in home opener

FLAGSTAFF — The Northern Arizona Lumberjacks men’s basketball team lost their second game of the 2020-21 season on Thursday night.

NAU (0-2) fell to UC Riverside 74-50 in what was the team’s home opener at Rolle Activity Center.

Cameron Shelton had 13 points, while Luke Avdalovic added 12 points for the Lumberjacks.

Arinze Chidom registered 17 points and Dominick Pickett had 11 points for UC Riverside (3-1).

Oliver Hayes-Brown added seven rebounds and Zyon Pullin had six rebounds.

UP NEXT

NAU will travel to Fort Collins to take on Colorado State on Monday.
