A pair of Arizona State players have been ruled out for the Sun Devils’ home game against Oregon on Thursday night.
Freshman forward Marcus Bagley and junior Chris Osten are both out on Thursday, in news first reported by The Athletic’s Doug Haller.
Both will miss Thursday’s game against the Ducks with ankle injuries, joining teammates Taeshon Cherry (personal reasons) and Pavlo Dziuba (COVID-19 protocol) in missing the contest.
Freshman Josh Christopher is a game-time decision on Thursday as the guard nurses a lower leg bruise.
Bagley is ASU’s fourth-leading scorer this season, averaging 11.8 points per game, while Osten has averaged 3.3 PPG off the bench for the team.
Christopher is the Sun Devils’ second-leading scorer, behind senior guard Remy Martin, averaging 15.3 PPG in 14 contests this season.
The Sun Devils are returning to the hardwood for the first time since they beat Stanford, 79-75 on Jan. 30.
The team had three straight games, two against Utah and one versus Colorado, that were postponed because of COVID-19 issues.
The Sun Devils and Ducks tip off at 7 p.m. on Thursday in Tempe.
