Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker has once again placed himself among the NBA scoring legends.

In the second quarter against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, the 24-year-old became the ninth player in league history to reach 9,000 career points before turning 25.

He joins the company of LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Shaquille O’Neal and Anthony Davis to reach this mark at such age, according to ESPN.

He was the fifth-youngest of the group to do so, according to the Suns.

Booker, in his sixth season, needed eight points on Saturday to reach the 9,000 mark. He is averaging 25.7 points per game this season, slightly below his 26.6 average over both of the last two seasons.

His name is part of this elite company for every single millennium mark since he joined the league at the age of 18.

Booker was the fourth-youngest to reach 1,000 points (James, Bryant, Durant), third-youngest to 2,000 (James, Durant), fourth-youngest to 3,000 (James, Durant, Anthony), third-youngest to 4,000 (James, Durant) and fifth-youngest to 5,000 (James, Durant, Anthony, Dwight Howard), according to the Suns.

He was the eighth-youngest to 6,000, fourth-youngest to 7,000 and ninth-youngest to 8,000.

The Suns struggled to get going offensively in the first half against the Spurs, going into the break trailing 64-45.
