Phoenix outscored Denver 37-27 in the first quarter, marking the most points the Suns have scored in the opening period of any game this postseason.

The Suns did so by shooting a whopping 71% from the floor compared to 44% for the Nuggets in the first 12 minutes of the contest.

Phoenix finished the game shooting 43-of-81 (53.1%).
