Before the Diamondbacks took the field against the Los Angeles Angels on Friday, D-backs’ catcher Carson Kelly made a young fan’s day.

Kelly took some time to acknowledge some fans before the game and signed a young boy’s baseball bat before heading to the Diamondbacks bullpen.

The young fan couldn’t believe his eyes and the waterworks then ensued.

Getting the chance to meet your favorite baseball players is great but getting a signed baseball bat by your favorite team’s catcher puts the icing on the cake.

The Diamondbacks broadcast team stated that they believed the bat itself belonged to the Arizona catcher.

Surely, the young boy will never forget this moment.
