Chris Paul was quick to give credit for the Phoenix Suns’ 84-80 win in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals over the Los Angeles Clippers to center Deandre Ayton.

“That man right over there, Deandre Ayton, we gonna get him a bag this summer,” Paul told ESPN’s Rachel Nichols after the game.

Ayton finished the game with 19 points and a whopping 22 rebounds to go with four blocks, a steal and three assists.

Phoenix needed all of it as the offensive rhythm of the game ground to a virtual halt in the fourth quarter with the Suns outscoring the Los Angeles Clippers 15-14 in the final frame.

Ayton’s defense was critical in limiting the Clippers to just three baskets in the quarter and helping provide the Suns with a 42-36 advantage in points in the paint.

The third-year pro out of Arizona came out of the gates hot, leading the Suns in scoring in the first half with 15 points and nine rebounds.

With the Suns and Clippers shooting 36% and 32% from the floor, respectively, Ayton’s 22 rebounds were critical.

With a win in Game 5, Phoenix can punch a ticket to the NBA Finals at home on Monday night.

Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
