Quarterback Jayden Daniels and the Arizona State Sun Devils figure to rebound from a tumultuous 2020 season that had more to do with extreme circumstances of a pandemic than any individual players’ performances.

He leads an ASU squad that is expected to be in the heart of the Pac-12 South mix thanks to a defense with almost all of its starters returning and an offense that has proven talent at every position group save for receiver.

Even compared to the college football world at large, few teams can line up with the experience of Arizona State’s roster.

With that, expect Daniels, defensive tackle Jermayne Lole, center Dohnovan West, fifth-year cornerback Chase Lucas and others to pop up on more than a few of college football’s many preseason award watch lists for 2021.

Below is a running tally of ASU players who have made this year’s preseason watch lists.
