Following their 105-98 loss in Game 6 of the NBA Finals which ended the season, Phoenix Suns head coach Monty Williams was all class.
After wrapping up his postgame media session, Williams made his way to the Bucks locker room to congratulate the team that just ended the Suns’ championship dreams.

Even after the defeat, Williams was able to put his pride to the side and gave Milwaukee the credit it deserved.
“It’s hard to get here,” Williams said. “I wanted it so bad.”
Embracing Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Finals MVP, Williams congratulated the Bucks on their championship and thanked them for the lessons they taught him and his team.
Williams said that this loss will ultimately make the Suns a better team and will make him a better coach.
In just his second season with the team, Williams was able to coach the Suns to their first NBA Finals appearance since 1993.
Phoenix became the first team in NBA history to reach the Finals after a decade-long playoff drought.
