The Arizona Coyotes on Wednesday signed LW Ryan Dzingel to a one year, $1.1 million dollar deal, according to Elliote Friedman.

He registered 8 goals and 5 assists for 13 points with 21 penalty minutes in 40 games in the 2020-21 season for the Senators and Carolina Hurricanes.

The 6-foot winger’s most productive season came in 2018-19 for Ottawa and the Columbus Blue Jackets when he recorded 26 goals and 30 assists for 56 points. It was his second straight season with 20-plus goals and 40-plus points.

This was his second straight season with 20-plus goals and 40-plus points after doing it in 2017-18 as well.

The Wheaton, Illinois native has totaled 82 goals and 98 assists for 180 points in 372 career NHL games.

Dzingel is another name on the list of the new look Coyotes as general manager Bill Armstrong tries to rebuild a roster with a multitude of picks in the future drafts.
