The Arizona Cardinals placed tight end Darrell Daniels on the COVID-19 reserve list on Wednesday.
This is Daniels’ second time on the list. The first was during training camp.
Daniels has played in all four Cardinals games this season, mostly on special teams. He does not yet have a target, but he has 31 special teams snaps this season (37% of the team’s total).
The fifth-year tight end is the third Cardinal to land on the COVID-19 list this regular season.
Practice squad wide receiver Josh Doctson was activated on Tuesday after he landed on the list on Sept. 29.
Receiver Antoine Wesley missed the first two games while spending 11 days on the list.
In unrelated news, the Cardinals also lost one of its unprotected practice squad cornerbacks.
The Green Bay Packers signed fifth-year player Rasul Butler on Wednesday.
Butler signed with Arizona on Sept. 3 but has not been elevated for any game. The Cardinals still have a full practice squad after signing running back Tavien Feaster, offensive linemen Koda Martin and cornerback Greg Mabin.
