Phoenix Suns wing Mikal Bridges is $90 million richer, having agreed to a four-year extension with the Suns, his agency told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

He celebrated the life-changing signing with some strong teammate meme-ing.

Other NBA players were happy for the fourth-year pro.

President of the National Basketball Players Association, the Portland Trail Blazers’ C.J. McCollum, as well as Bridges’ Suns teammate Cam Payne shot off congratulatory tweets.

So did Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell, who like McCollum has been on the receiving end of #MikalJail in their matchups with Phoenix.

Two of Bridges’ former teammates, the Dallas Mavericks’ Jalen Brunson (Villanova) and Sacramento Kings’ Richaun Holmes (Suns), also gave their congrats.

Former Suns general manager Ryan McDonough traded for Bridges on draft night in 2018, after the wing was selected 10th overall by the Philadelphia 76ers. McDonough saw Bridges potentially getting close to $100 million with an extension.

The $22.5 million annual average value of Bridges’ contract in theory should turn out well for the team after Bridges in his third season averaged 13.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game while taking on the best opposing perimeter player each night.

A few media members noted that the contract amount was on the surprising end of the spectrum that favors Phoenix.
