Venom Vision: Low attendance and failing to trust starting pitchers

Despite the fact the Arizona Diamondbacks are off to a rather impressive start in 2013, the team is ranked just 18th in average attendance. While economically it’s not always easy to get out to Chase Field, I think the D-backs have everything a fan could want in an entertainment experience: star power, young talent and plenty of drama.
In the Around the Diamond segment, manager Kirk Gibson is put on blast for failing to trust his starting pitchers to finish what they started. That lack of faith has led to two blown saves and two losses for the D-backs.
