The Arizona Diamondbacks announced a plethora of moves on Friday, with one being a non-tender for relief pitcher Reyes Moronta that will move the team’s 40-man roster to 39.

In addition, 39 players were tendered, including the arbitration-eligible Zac Gallen, Carson Kelly, Kyle Lewis, Josh Rojas, Daulton Varsho and Christian Walker.

Moronta, 29, was claimed off waivers by the D-backs in late August from the Los Angeles Dodgers. The right-hander went on to appear in 17 games over the next month plus, pitching 14.0 innings and allowing seven earned runs on 13 hits and eight walks for a 4.50 ERA and 1.50 WHIP.

The D-backs also avoided arbitration with right-handed pitcher Cole Sulser by agreeing to a new one-year contract. Sulser was claimed off waivers from the Miami Marlins on Nov. 8.

Sulser appeared in 39 games with Miami this season after spending two seasons with the Baltimore Orioles. He was 1-4 with a 5.29 ERA for Miami with two saves.
