49ers-Cardinals injury report: Arizona rules out 8 players for season finale
The Arizona Cardinals had their final practice of the week on Friday for Sunday’s regular-season finale against the San Francisco 49ers and the injury report, specifically who was listed as out, was as long as a CVS receipt.
Seven players were given a DNP label for a third straight day and eight have been ruled out, meaning their 2022 NFL seasons from a playing perspective has come to an end.
Cardinals who didn’t practice at all this week and won’t be playing on offense include QB Colt McCoy (concussion), RB James Conner (knee/shin) and WRs DeAndre Hopkins (knee) and Robbie Anderson (back).
On defense, Arizona will be without DL Zach Allen (hand), LB Zaven Collins (calf) and CBs Antonio Hamilton (hip) and Marco Wilson (neck).
The 49ers are 12-4 but still have something to play for, as a win is part of the formula for finishing with the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
Their injury report is lengthy as well but San Francisco will have most of its stars, with RB Christian McCaffrey (ankle/knee), QB Brock Purdy (oblique/rib), WR Deebo Samuel, OL Trent Williams and DE Nick Bosa all being full practice participants on Friday.
