The Arizona Cardinals are signing rookie defensive end Anthony Goodlow to the practice squad after he worked out for the team, NFL insider Aaron Wilson reported on Tuesday.
Arizona announced the club released practice squad defensive backs Jason Taylor II and Keion Crossen to open a pair of roster spots.
Goodlow went undrafted out of Oklahoma State and signed with the Los Angeles Rams following the 2024 NFL Draft. The Rams waived him with an injury settlement ahead of the season opener.
He has yet to make his NFL debut but played in preseason games for the Rams.
The 6-foot-5 lineman played both inside and outside during his college tenure at Oklahoma State and Tulsa. In 2023, Goodlow played 14 games and made 42 tackles, seven tackles for loss and three sacks in his lone season with the Cowboys. He earned All-AAC honors in 2022 for Tulsa.
Goodlow joins Ben Stille and PJ Mustipher as defensive linemen on the practice squad to provide depth to a position group that has been battered by injuries.
Bilal Nichols and Justin Jones are out for the season, while 2024 first-round pick Darius Robinson was activated off injured reserve this week.
