Arizona State football’s Jordyn Tyson exits Territorial Cup with apparent arm injury

Arizona State football’s Jordyn Tyson exited a pivotal 49-7 Territorial Cup win on Saturday in Tucson with a left arm injury.
Tyson immediately shed his helmet, got up and held onto his left arm after being tackled and following a six-yard pickup on a first-and-7 with 3:59 left in the third quarter. Following a medical tent visit, Tyson headed to the ASU locker room without his jersey on and his arm wrapped in a sling.
With the Sun Devils holding a 35-7 lead of Arizona, Tyson had already racked up a team-high eight catches for 143 yards and one touchdown.

Tyson’s receiving yards total was his second-most of the season, the wideout posting season highs in receptions (12) and yards (176) in a 24-14 win over Kansas State on Nov. 16.
