The Phoenix Suns had three first-round picks in the 2014 NBA Draft, and though it was reported they were trying to package a couple of them in order to move up in the draft or land a veteran player, they ultimately were forced into using all three.

With their first selection, No. 14 overall, they tabbed T.J. Warren out of North Carolina State.

Their next pick, No. 18 overall, saw them choose guard Tyler Ennis from Syracuse.

And finally, with their third pick, No. 27 overall, they chose Bogdan Bogdanovic, a guard who was playing in Serbia.

In short time Warren has shown flashes of being a productive scorer, while Ennis was dealt to Milwaukee in his rookie season.

Not much has happened with Bogdanovic, though, as he has continued to play overseas. There have been occasional news blurbs about game-winning shots or other quality production, but his name has not often come up when people talk about the Suns and their future.

That is, until now.

The idea that Bogdanovic could be making his way to the United States next year to join the Suns is intriguing because, quite frankly, no one is really all that sure of what the team has in the 6-foot-6 shooting guard.

So far this season, for Fenerbahce Instanbul, the 23-year-old has averaged 10.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists in just more than 27 minutes per game. He has shot 43.6 percent from the field and made 40 percent of his 3-point attempts.

Should the Suns bring Bogdanovic into the fold next season, their guard situation — which is already filled with talent and options — would be even more crowded.
