2016 MLB draft picks from Arizona

Five Sun Devils and four Wildcats were selected in the 2016 MLB Draft, but the state of Arizona had much more representation in the event that finished up 40 rounds of selections on Saturday.

Twenty-five players who either were playing for an Arizona high school team or entered college out of an in-state high school heard their names called. Nine of those players attended both high school in Arizona and most recently played for an in-state college or university.
