The Arizona Cardinals announced they have promoted Terry McDonough to the role of Vice President of Player Personnel.
McDonough replaces Jason Licht, who left to become the general manager of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
McDonough just concluded his first season with the Cardinals in the role of Eastern Regional Scout, and previously worked with the Jacksonville Jaguars as the team’s director of player personnel.
He also has experience working for the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens. McDonough began his career as a scouting intern with the San Francisco 49ers in 1989.
A 22-year NFL veteran, McDonough is the brother of Suns GM Ryan McDonough as well as ESPN play-by-play announcer Sean McDonough.
