The Arizona Cardinals on Tuesday reached an agreement with former Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears long snapper Aaron Brewer, reports ESPN’s Josh Weinfuss.

Brewer replaces rookie Kameron Canaday, who was cut Tuesday, after struggling with snaps in Week 1 against the New England Patriots and again in Week 3 in a loss to the Buffalo Bills.

After spending four years as the Broncos’ long snapper who played in every regular season and playoff game over that span, Brewer was in training camp with the Bears but did not make the 53-man roster to open the 2016 season. He was an undrafted rookie out of San Diego State who signed with Denver in 2012.

Brewer held the unfortunate distinction of having the worst Madden rating in Madden 25.
