The Phoenix Suns opened up a couple of roster spots on Wednesday after assigning guard Tyler Ulis and forward/center Alan Williams to the Northern Arizona Suns of the D-League.
This will be the first D-League stint of the season for both Ulis and Williams, who each found it tough to find playing time in Phoenix.
Ulis appeared in 14 games, averaging 3.4 points, 1.7 assists and 1.14 steals in 10.4 minutes per game. Williams, on the other hand, appeared in nine games, and averaged 4.3 points and 4.3 rebounds in 10 minutes per outing.
At 10-1, the Northern Arizona Suns have the best record in the D-League.
