Graphic designer creates football uniforms for NHL teams

OK, we’ll admit, that headline may confuse you.

Why would anyone do such a thing? Quick answer: Because they are awesome!

Rhode Island-based designer Jimmy Nutini took on the project of creating football uniforms for each franchise in the National Hockey League, and they turned out really, really well.

Of course, here in Arizona, we’re a little partial to Nutini’s entry for the Coyotes.

Chicago Blackhawks

Vancouver Canucks

Florida Panthers

New Jersey Devils

And finally, the Los Angeles Kings, which was a difficult conclusion to come to, because, well, we don’t like anything about that team.
