Arizona Diamondbacks reinstate Chase Anderson from 15-day DL

To make room for Anderson, the team optioned pitcher Allen Webster to Triple-A Reno.

The Arizona Diamondbacks announced pitcher Chase Anderson has been reinstated from the 15-day disabled list.

To make room for Anderson, the team optioned pitcher Allen Webster to Triple-A Reno.

Anderson was placed on the disabled list on July 19 with right triceps inflammation. In 18 starts for the D-backs this season, the 27-year-old has posted a 4-4 record with a 4.37 ERA.

Webster, 25, has appeared in five games for the D-backs this season, going 1-1 with a 6.86 ERA.
