The Arizona Cardinals couldn't find a way to get the job done Sunday, losing to the Rams 31-17 at University of Phoenix Stadium. They've now lost seven straight after starting the season 4-0.

Wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald said they are doing things the right way and doesn't question the process that leads up to Sundays.

"We're a playoff team a couple years back and there's nothing different about the preparation. His (Whisenhunt's) tempo is good, it's crisp, guys are attentive and the assignments are being executed so I don't think it has anything to do with our preparation."

This loss was especially troubling with rookie quarterback Ryan Lindley throwing four interceptions in his first NFL start, two of which were returned for touchdowns and the Cardinals not scoring a single point in the second half.

"There's a disconnect when we get out there on the field Sunday," said Fitzgerald. "I feel like we just take turns making mistakes offensively and offensively everybody has to be on the same page."

Speaking of that "disconnect," according to ESPN Stats and Information, Lindley was 0-for-6 with two interceptions when targeting Fitzgerald at least 15 yards downfield Sunday. All six of the incompletions resulted from off-target passes.

Head coach Ken Whisenhunt tells the media weekly that he and the team believe in their process and their preparation and they will not change the way they do things leading up to gameday.

Fitz reiterated that again Sunday after the game before leaving the locker room. "We have to find a way to take what we're doing Monday through Saturday to Sunday and if we're able to do that, we'll have some success," he said.

    Whiz
Whisenhunt is a great head coach and anyone thinking he should go is crazy. The cardinals have been bit with the injury bug and bit hard. Upgrade the o-line to protect Kolb and you will see a whole different team. Also, bring in another running back and replace the OC.

Whiz Has Became Part Of The Problem
His Miss Evaluation Of QBs And Failure To Make Adjustments At Halftime As Well As Awful Play Calling Have Created This Mess. His Stubborness Period. Every Team Gets Hit And Hit Hard With The Injury Bug. This Is The Same Guy Who Didnt Know If Matt Leinart Or Kurt Warner Was His Starting Quarterback Beginning Our Superbowl Season. The Same Guy Who Wanted Charlie Whitehurst. Ive Been A Huge Whiz Suppoter But At This Point We Deserve Better Moving Forward. Everybody Wanted To Blame The Line And Since The Bye Theyve Only Allowed 5 Sacks, Exposing The Rest Of This Teams Dificiencies. Poor Defense.

    I agree with CardsGoHard
If Whisenhunt was the great coach everyone claims he is he would pull rank on the OC when it's obviously horrible play calling, also his copy/paste interviews after each game gives him minimal credibility, he preaches accountability, yet always puts his blame elsewhere. I am honestly think he just fell into luck when Warner was here and reaped the praise. He waits till it is too late before yanking the deficient players, well with exception to the Falcons game, where apparently his seat felt hot and so he cracked the whip a bit.

    Whiz isn't the problem
Any team that loses their top 2 OTs, top QB, and top two RBs for extended periods is going to struggle. The big concern about Whiz is his inability to judge or develop QBs, he's now failed three times with DA, Hall, and Skelton (recall that he named Skelton the starter going into the season). They need to fire or demote Miller and force Whiz to bring in a solid QB guy as OC, such as Norv Turner.

    Goodbye Whiz!
I have always been a Coach Whiz supporter but I have crossed over and can no longer defend him. HE MUST GO! His inability to evaluate QB's and his unwillingness to draft an O-line has truly been his end. The loan highlight to this season is the defense and let’s be honest Whiz had nothing to do with that. If we keep Whiz, we can say goodbye to our killer defense. DC Horton will be a head coach next year. Let’s hope the Bidwill's open their eyes and realize a change must be done! Fire Whiz and hire Horton as head coach. It is the best move available.

    Whiz is the problem
Gonna make this short....Kolb was playing good...OL stunk...Whiz did nothing to change it until Kolb got hurt...it pretty simple to figure out...If you see the only QB that gives you a decent chance getting his butt handed to him....fix the problem the first time dont wait weeks or until the poor guy cant play any longer...help him...to help us...Man up

    dump dreamers
dump whiz and all the qbs none are worth keeping Kolb keeps getting hurt, Skelton was ruined by whiz and staff and Lindley shouldn't have been drafted. All falls on the head coach. Get rid of whiz put horton in charge and try to get marty schottenheimer or someone like that who knows offense for oc . This team isn't that far away from returning to the play-offs. And use the first 2 picks on qbs .NO RETREADS LIKE MIKE VICK OR ALEX SMITH IF THEY BECOME AVAILABLE.Also don't play Kolb anymore doesn't need to end up on injured reserve where we can't get rid of him .

    Stop putting blame on oc
People need to stop calling for the oc to be fired and to keep whiz. The oc has been replaced almost every year that whiz has been here . Replacing the oc isn't helping need to get to the bottom of the problem and replace whiz now so the rest of the staff can be evaluated and replaced as needed .MICHEAL BIDWELL WAKE UP AND FIRE WHIZ BEFORE IT'S TO LATE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
