Maualuga, 26, is coming off a season in which he posted a career-best 122 tackles -- 62 solo -- and tallied one sack.
Originally a second round pick of the Bengals in 2009 out of USC, the 6-foot-2, 265 pound Maualuga is at his best as a run defender.
In four seasons with the Bengals he has tallied 348 combined tackles, three sacks and three interceptions.
