ESPN’s Schefter tweets about Larry Fitzgerald on the trading block

Oct 27, 2013, 5:08 PM | Updated: 6:49 pm

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald could be on the trading block when the season finishes, according to a pair of tweets Sunday morning from ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.

Schefter notes that the team will likely not move its No. 1 receiver before the trade deadline Tuesday.

The 10-year veteran has played his entire career with Arizona. He had a down year in 2012, totaling only four touchdowns, 71 catches and 798 receiving yards.

The seven-time Pro Bowler is on pace to slightly eclipse his 2012 numbers. Through seven games this season, he has 32 receptions for 422 yards and four touchdowns.
