Report: Arizona Cardinals release LB coach Mike Caldwell to join Todd Bowles in New York

Jan 17, 2015, 12:21 AM | Updated: 12:21 am

Another Arizona Cardinals coach is heading to the Big Apple.

Two days after former Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles became the new head coach of the New York Jets, the Cardinals watched one of their assistant coaches leave to join him.

Caldwell joined Arizona’s coaching staff in 2013 after spending five years with the Philadelphia Eagles.

A veteran of 11 NFL seasons, Caldwell had 14.5 career sacks as a linebacker for six different teams, including the Cardinals in 1997.
