There haven’t been many highlights for the Arizona Coyotes this season.
But the team helped provide a great moment during their season finale last Saturday night.
Prior to the start of their game against the Anaheim Ducks, the team invited the Urmans, longtime season-ticket holders, to participate in the ceremonial puck drop.
As they readied to drop the puck in front of Coyotes captain Shane Doan and Anaheim captain Ryan Getzlaf, P.A. announcer Paul Surra let them in on surprise — delivering the puck was their son, Sgt. Daniel Urman, who was back from a tour of duty in Afghanistan.
It was an unbelievably touching moment. Well done, Coyotes.
