The Phoenix Suns and Josh Jackson did not have a good first half against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Jackson, playing his best basketball of the season over the past six weeks, started the game shooting 2-for-11 from the field.
In the late second quarter, the rookie was defending Pelicans point guard Jrue Holiday near the basket when Holiday elbowed Jackson in the jaw.
Jackson immediately went to hold his jaw and would spend the stoppage moving around his mouth.
The refs missed the elbow and called a blocking foul on Jackson.
Suns veteran Jared Dudley was having absolutely none of the missed call by the referees. Even after a lengthy timeout and free throws for Holiday, Dudley was still talking to the refs.
As the Suns’ Tyler Ulis brought the ball down the floor following the free throws, Dudley stood from the bench and yelled.
The ref gave Dudley a technical, but Dudley didn’t stop and was ejected shortly after.

Dudley continued to let the referee know he disagreed as he walked to the tunnel.
Jackson did return in the second half.
