The Phoenix Suns have agreed to trade guard Trevor Ariza to the Washington Wizards, according to 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station’s John Gambadoro.

The Suns will reportedly receive forward Kelly Oubre Jr. and guard Austin Rivers in the deal.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported earlier the trade call between the two sides was set for Saturday, but according to The Athletics’ Shams Charania, the trade call is now expected to take place on Monday.

The Wizards on Sunday all but confirmed the trade, listing Oubre and Rivers as inactive for their game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

In a proposed three-team deal on Friday that had the Suns sending Ariza to Washington, the Suns believed they were receiving forward Dillon Brooks from Memphis while the Grizzlies thought they were trading guard MarShon Brooks to Phoenix.

The deal fell through once it was known that the Suns and Grizzlies were talking about two different players.

Ariza has averaged 9.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 34.0 minutes per game. He started all 26 games he played in.

Oubre, 23, is averaging 12.9 points and 4.4 rebounds in 26.0 minutes in his fourth season while 26-year-old Rivers is averaging 7.2 points and 2.0 assists entering his seventh season.

Both Rivers and Oubre are in the last year of their contracts. As an upcoming restricted free agent, the Suns will have the right to match any competing contract offer to Oubre or tender him a $4.5 million qualifying offer.
