Phoenix Suns announce 2014-15 theme nights

The Phoenix Suns released their 2014-15 promotional calendar on Wednesday.
The season opens on Oct. 29 at home against the Los Angeles Lakers. The first 15,000 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative T-shirt.
The Suns will host “Orange Fridays” every Friday home game of the season, starting Oct. 31 against the San Antonio Spurs. The players will be wearing their orange, sleeved alternate jerseys and fans are encouraged to wear orange too. The team will also be giving away a series of orange rally towels at these games.
Three players will be featured on bobblehead nights throughout the season: Markieff Morris (Nov. 7 vs. the Sacramento Kings), Marcus Morris (Dec. 12 vs. the Detroit Pistons) and Isaiah Thomas (Feb. 2 vs. the Memphis Grizzlies).
The first 5,000 fans in attendance at the Dec. 2 game against the Indiana Pacers will receive a Goran Dragic Dragon plush doll.
Phoenix will also have three Fan Appreciation Nights during the season. They will be giving away car magnets on Dec. 15 against the Milwaukee Bucks, color changing tumblers on Feb. 6 against the Utah Jazz, and lunch bags on April 14 against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Other theme nights include Military Appreciation Night (Nov. 12), Star Wars Night (Jan. 16), the Gorilla’s birthday (Jan. 21), and Throwback Thursday Night (March 19).
