The Phoenix Coyotes find themselves in very unfamiliar
territory – preparing for a Game 1 of a conference semifinal
series.

The Nashville Predators aren’e exactly grizzled playoff
vets, either with exactly two playoff series wins in
franchise history.

Yet, this best-of-seven series is shaping up to be a hard-
hitting, tightly-contested, low-scoring affair headlined by
two of the best goalies in the game; Pekka Rinne of
Nashville and Coyotes’ netminder Mike Smith.

ESPN hockey insides Barry Melrose and Pierre LeBrun break it
down, and both favor Nashville in the series.
