Arizona Coyotes defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson has 13 goals this season, none stranger than the one he scored on Thursday night in Toronto.
His dump-in shot found its way into the net from 114 feet away just five seconds into the third period. The goal tied the game at one and tied the Coyotes record for fastest goal to begin a period.
We're hearing that goal by OEL is the fastest shorthanded goal to start a period in NHL history.

When in doubt, put the puck on net.
The Coyotes went on to win the game 3-1, snapping a seven-game losing skid.
