Coyotes prank Max Domi during warmups in Toronto

It was expected that Max Domi’s return to Toronto, where his father Tie Domi played the majority of his NHL career, would put the spotlight on the Arizona Coyotes rookie. Little did Domi know that was quite literal when he took the ice for warmups prior to Arizona’s game against the Maple Leafs on Monday.

Domi skated onto the ice all by himself. His teammates held back as the rookie took some practice shots, and to his credit, he played the prank off like nothing was wrong.

No surprise for a youngster who’s hardly looked panicked so far this year.

Domi would keep that spotlight shining brightly on him during the game as well, scoring a goal in the first period to break a 0-0 tie.
