Wednesday afternoon, Arizona Cardinals cornerback Antonio Cromartie said he wasn’t sure if he would be able to play Thursday night against the St. Louis Rams, adding he would know after he went through warmups before the game.
Cromartie, who suffered an ankle injury last Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, apparently did not even need that to make a determination.
Cardinals CB Antonio Cromartie, listed as questionable with ankle injury, will play tonight versus St. Louis Rams, per team official.

Having Cromartie would be quite a boon for Arizona, especially given that it looked like he would be out for an extended period of time immediately after he suffered the injury.
But the Cardinals, who are 10-3 and trying to make a push toward the postseason, would certainly be happy to have him on the field against a 6-7 Rams team that is playing well and has a solid group of receiving threats.
“Oh there’s no doubt that we need to be full strength,” Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said. “Especially with Tyrann (Mathieu) down.”
