Now that the Arizona Cardinals’ 2014 season is over, it’s time to reflect. Over the next ten days or so, we’ll look back at the Cardinals’ 11-win campaign, position by position.
The Cardinals basically saw three levels of competency at the quarterback position in 2014.
Starter Carson Palmer, while he was healthy, was excellent.
Backup Drew Stanton, while he was healthy, was serviceable.
Youngsters Logan Thomas and Ryan Lindley were, well, youthful.
All in all, Cardinals QBs combined to complete 56.3 percent (320-of-568) passes for 3,808 yards, 21 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. The combined passer rating of 81.8 ranked 25th in the league, and lowest among teams that qualified for the playoffs.
