After his first full year as a starter in 2016, the Cardinals have agreed to re-sign center A.Q. Shipley to a two-year deal, the team announced Thursday.

Shipley, 30, is a five-year veteran of the NFL who has played with Arizona the last two seasons. Last year, he started all 16 games and was the only offensive lineman to get through the season without injury.

Per club policy, terms of the contract weren’t disclosed.

Shipley has been praised for his run-blocking, a helpful tool for the Cardinals who boast elite running back David Johnson. The 6-foot-1, 307-pound veteran has played 73 career games with 38 starts.
