It all goes down Saturday night.

Former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, earning the honor of one of the best to ever played the game.

His former coach, former teammate, and former competitor shared some words to him hours before the ceremony.

Dick Vermeil, who was the coach of Warner’s Super Bowl winning St. Louis Rams in 1999-00, said to Warner, “no one deserves it more than you do.”

“The way you started your career — no one in the history of the National Football League quarterback position started his career as dynamically as you did. I don’t think anybody will ever do it again,” Vermeil said.

Former Cardinals teammate Anquan Boldin said the Hall, “is getting a special one.”

“You’re probably one of the better football minds that I’ve been around, and it was an honor playing alongside of you on the field,” Boldin said. “My only regret is that you didn’t get in earlier, because in my book, you’re a first-ballot Hall of Famer.”

Will Blackmon, who played 10 years in the NFL as a defensive back, commended Warner on how he is off the field.

“Just everything Kurt Warner stands for as a person, for perseverance, how he is as a parent, how he is as a husband, how he is as a player,” Blackmon said, “I just respect everything about you, Kurt.”

Warner replied on Twitter to all of his friends, teammates and coaches who have helped him over the years.

The Hall of Fame ceremony begins at 4 p.m.
