The Arizona Diamondbacks are encouraging fans to arrive early to downtown Phoenix for Wednesday’s National League Wild Card game with first pitch against the Colorado Rockies set for 5:08 p.m.

Beginning at 3 p.m., the same time the gates open, there will be a street festival along Fourth and Jackson streets. That will feature live music, a beer garden, a postseason merchandise truck and the D-backs Street team.

For those arriving even earlier, Game Seven Grill will be open for lunch at 11 a.m. and will remain open for an hour postgame.

At 4:30 p.m., pregame festivities will begin inside Chase Field. Those include a ceremonial first pitch by NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner, the national anthem performed by trumpeter Jesse McGuire and an American flag held by uniformed military members, Phoenix Police and Phoenix Fire.

The first 45,000 fans will receive a D-backs rally towel.

Inside Chase Field, the Diamondbacks are featuring a four-some of food specials throughout Chase Field.

Tune in to 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station starting at 6 a.m. Wednesday as our shows come to you live from Chase Field.
